Nobadeer is a versatile crescent shaped shawl with a garter stitch section shaped by short rows and a lovely lace edging capturing the shape of the sea shells washed up on Nobadeer Beach, Nantucket – after which the shawl is named.

Knit in Juniper Moon Farm Findley DK it has an elegant sheen which works as well over a summer dress as it does with jeans as the temperatures fall. Not too difficult, it could be knit by a confident beginner. There are both written and charted instructions.
