Old river Road bundle

We are obsessed with ‘Old River Road’.

Kay Hopkins’ designs are, in any case, timeless, practical, and very, very wearable but this one knocks it out of the park.
We don’t see many designers doing a ‘rugby-shirt’ neckline and so you can imagine this lovely Henley, cropped, over a linen dress or paired with your favourite jeans and boots.

The Old River Road textured stitch pattern is so easy to memorize. You can choose your hemline and a contrast finish on the button placket which is double-knitted and so looks great whether open or closed. Construction is top-down and in the round in a completely seamless manner. The yoke and body are worked back and forth until the bottom of the button placket, and then the body is worked in the round.

We made our Old River bundles with Spincycle Yarn and we have four colourways for you to choose from or go rogue and make up your own!

We named our Old River Road bundles after Louisiana rivers they are:

• Kay’s original : light grey Spincycle Wilder and Spincycle Dyed in the wool Melancholia
• Mississippi: dark grey Spincycle Wilder and Spincycle dyed in the wool Water Witch
• Ouachita: dark grey Spincycle Wilder and Spincycle dyed in the wool Wallflower
• Vermillion: light grey Spincycle Wilder and Spincycle Dyed in the wool Devilish Grin

Choose size that is at least 4” / 10 cm larger than chest measurement!
