String Theory Merino DK is a soft 4 ply 100% superwash merino wool yarn. It is available in 100g/280 yd skeins. The gauge is 6 stitches/inch on size 5 US needles. Recommended needle size from US 5-7.
Each dye lot is unique, and each skein holds secrets that are revealed as the fibre is knit. String Theory is not a well known yarn but it is one of our favourites: vibrant and alive with inspiration with colours drawn from forests, fields, sunrises. String Theory is hand-dyed in Blue Hill Maine and encompasses the extraordinary colours of the countryside and coastline of that lovely East Coast State.
