Ghost Ranch Hat by Drea Renee Knits

The Ghost Ranch Hat is the new collaboration between Spincycle Yarns and Drea Renee Knits, specially released during Edinburgh Yarn Festival 2019.

This pattern is created using 2 skeins – 1 skein of Dyed in the Wool in colourway ‘Ghost Ranch’ and 1 skein of Versus in colourway ‘Slow & Steady’.

The Spincycle team created a brand new colourway of their classic ‘Dyed in the Wool‘ named after the hat, Ghost Ranch, for this legendary collaboration. As with all their yarns, they are created using artisan hand-dying techniques, which means every skein has a unique blend of the saturation of colour.

‘Ghost Ranch is the 4th pattern of my “shifting” series! A really fun way to explore color and texture using the Mosaic knitting method! This hat begins with a two color brioche rib that is then rolled up and transitioned into the textural Mosaic pattern! The Ghost Ranch colorway of Dyed in the Wool was created especially for this project and inspired by my time in the New Mexico desert!’ – Andrea Mowry
