Green Mountain Spinnery – Mountain Mohair

Green Mountain Spinnery – Mountain Mohair

Mountain Mohair by Green Mountain Spinnery is vibrant and supple hues with a frosty sheen, pure beauty in yarn form!

We love how this premium yarn is so easy to knit with. It is tightly wound in the skein but it softens and blooms beautifully when washed. It is ideal for cardigans and sweaters – especially Guernseys – as the fabric is sturdy but light and will withstand years of washing and wear.

It was featured in the following patterns:

‘Cesium’ by Sachiko Burgin in Issue 19 of Pom Pom Quarterly

‘Columella’ by Andrea Cull in Issue 30 of Pom Pom Quarterly

We recommend trying a range of needle sizes: 2.75mm to 6.5mm for this versatile yarn – or follow the instructions in one of the Spinnery’s own patterns.
