North Light Fibers – Atlantic

We are very proud of our small island location and feel a natural affinity with the yarns that are produced on an island four times smaller than ours and directly across the Atlantic from us.

‘Atlantic’ from North Light Fibers was an obvious choice. Produced in a mini-mill on Block island, this is a wonderful worsted weight yarn designed for an effortless knit.

The 100% Falkland Islands Merino (another island!) is soft and springy and provides an airy bounce due to the perfect spinning and plying process at the Block Island Mill.  The deep-hued yarn fully blooms when knit and blocked – you can literally watch it come alive as you knit.
