Honeycomb Cowl Bundles
The Honeycomb Cowl is a modern, graphic accessory that looks intricate yet is a pleasure to knit. Clever colour placement using only knit and purl stitches creates a bold honeycomb texture without complex techniques. This pattern is both relaxing and visually rewarding.
You will work the cowl flat at first, then join your stitches in the round for a seamless finish. The cowl then develops a sculptural shape with beautiful drape. It sits comfortably around the neck and works just as well as an everyday layer as it does as a polished statement piece.
Murielle Designed the pattern for adventurous beginners and intermediate knitters. The Honeycomb Cowl is an excellent introduction to structured colourwork. The samples shown are knitted using The Farmer’s Daughter Fiber Pishkun paired with Spincycle Yarns Dream State or Harrrisville Design’s Nightshade. They all highlight how beautifully the pattern showcases colour depth and contrast.
The contrasting colours forming the honeycomb pattern use only half a skein of Pishkun or Nightshade,. So why not treat your bestie and him or her to one too?
