Doris Shawl by Kat Goldin from The Crochet Project
We’re so thrilled to stock a selection of books and sheets from The Crochet Project by Joanne Scrace and Kat Goldin, including Kat Goldin’s Doris Shawl. We also stock The Learn to Crochet book and the single sheet pattern the Humbug Scarf.
My grandmother Doris was 5 feet tall, wore polyester dresses and sensible shoes. If you saw her and didn’t know her, you would assume she was just another unremarkable, sweet little old lady. You would be wrong. Grandma was feisty and unexpected and this shawl is a small homage to her. Its stripes, short row wedges and alternating stitches should always keep you interested. – The Crochet Project
